Peru: Law No. 31458 recognizes common pots and guarantees their sustainability, financing and the productive work of their beneficiaries, promoting their entrepreneurship.

The purpose of the Law is to recognize citizen initiatives for food support or attention called common pots as grassroots social organizations, which may be of a temporary or permanent nature, in order to guarantee their sustainability and temporary financing in emergency situations due to natural disasters, health emergencies or serious circumstances affecting the life of the nation, as well as to encourage the productive work of their beneficiaries, promoting their entrepreneurship. On 06/09/2022, under Supreme Decree No. 002-2022-MIDIS, the Regulations of Law No. 31458 were approved.
