Roadmap for the Transformation of Food Systems in Colombia towards 2030

National strategic document validated by Colombia's Intersectoral Commission for Food and Nutrition Security (CISAN), setting out the country's pathway towards equitable, healthy, sustainable and resilient food systems and contributing to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda. The Roadmap was developed through a mapping of existing actions, national and subnational dialogues, and interinstitutional commitments. Its priorities are organized around five action tracks: ensuring access to safe and nutritious food; promoting sustainable consumption patterns; advancing nature-positive production; promoting equitable livelihoods; and strengthening resilience to vulnerabilities, shocks and stresses. Its challenges include strengthening peasant, family and community-based agriculture, promoting healthy and sustainable diets, reducing food loss and waste, protecting biodiversity, strengthening rural livelihoods, and reducing territorial and generational gaps.
