Establishment of fodder prickly pear cactus nurseries to mitigate the effects of drought on livestock production

Description

In order to mitigate the effects of drought on livestock, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, through the National Commission of Arid Zones (Conaza), began the year with the establishment of fodder cactus nurseries in arid zones in five states of the country, as part of its innovation scheme in the use and production of this cactus.
