The purpose of this law is to protect, revitalize, multiply, and promote agrobiodiversity concerning phytogenetic resources for food and agriculture; ensure the production and ongoing free access to quality and diverse seeds through the promotion of scientific research and the regulation of sustainable agriculture models.
