Description

The transformation of global food systems must be balanced in relation to the following attributes: capacity to increase food production and variety; health and safety; diversity and nutritional quality; and environmental, economic and social sustainability. It is recognized that there is no single model and the balances and trade-offs will be different in each country and subregion, so it is important that the transformations are carried out gradually according to the responsibilities, realities and particularities of each one, guaranteeing that they do not no one left behind.
