Message #2 Food Systems Summit - Agricultural Production

Agricultural producers and food system workers are an essential and central link. Without agricultural production, there are no raw materials to be transformed into food and, therefore, food security is put at serious risk. Furthermore, agriculture is central to poverty eradication, rural development and provides key ecosystem services for the achievement of sustainable food systems.
