Central America to remain hotter and drier

From October to December 2026, moderate to high chances of below-normal rainfall were forecast for Honduras, Nicaragua, eastern Guatemala, eastern El Salvador, and southern Central America, together with a high likelihood of temperatures above the 90th percentile.
