Ancient origin of avocado

Between 7000 and 8000 years B.C. date the records of the origin of avocado in Mexico and Central America, being one of the crops with the greatest archaeological documentation in the American continent (Velásquez, A., 2025).
Entre 7000 y 8000 años A.C. datan los registros del origen del aguacate o palta en México y Centroamérica, siendo uno de los cultivos con mayor antigüedad documentada arqueológicamente en el continente americano (Velásquez, A., 2025).
