Motivation
In the face of a changing and challenging global context—including geopolitical changes, more extreme and frequent climatic phenomena, and major technological transformations—coupled with the growing complexity and expansion of demands on agri-food systems, It is crucial to adapt strategies and policies for agri-food systems based on a new vision of boldness, inclusion, reflection, adaptability, and evaluation, adjusted to the realities and challenges of each country in the region. Developing a new generation of public policies requires a transformative strategy that allows for a comprehensive, systemic approach to multidimensional problems with a long-term, evidence-based, consensus-driven strategic vision. This requires shifting the focus from "what" and "why" to "how" and "with whom," which implies strengthening public institutions toward transformative governance. We invite you to join the conversation in this hemispheric dialogue room. This room seeks to create a space for the exchange of ideas that will lead to a new generation of public policies for agri-food systems in the Americas.
