Description
The Brazilian government launched the Safra Plan 2023-2024 with a budget of $75.8 billion (R$ 364.2 billion) to encourage the strengthening of environmentally sustainable production systems through rural loans with lower interest rates for producers who adopt agricultural production practices considered more sustainable, such as: organic or agro-ecological production, bio-inputs, manure treatment in pig farming, rock dust and limestone, among others.
