Description
Supreme Decree No. 067-2023-PC indicates the State of Emergency in some provinces of the departments of Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancavelica, Junín, Pasco, Puno and Tacna, due to imminent danger due to water deficit as a consequence of the possible Phenomenon El Niño, for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.
The declaration arises from the Technical Situational Report prepared by the National Civil Defense Institute (INDECI), in which they have identified "population, agricultural area, pasture area and livestock population, among others, exposed to a very high probability of presence of the water deficit".
