Magazine of the Rural Association of Uruguay. The Rural Association of Uruguay, founded in 1871, is the country's oldest agricultural institution. It is a private, non-profit, national organization comprised of producers, whose purpose has been and continues to be the defense and promotion of the interests of agricultural production and related industries, the advancement of rural workers in all human, ethical, cultural, and economic aspects, the unity and harmony of those engaged in agricultural production, and the defense of the national interest through the efforts of the agricultural sector and its work. Through its magazine, whose first edition dates back to 1872, and through periodic technical documents, the Association disseminates its institutional position, the lines of action it promotes, and updates on various topics, primarily of a productive and economic nature.
