Progress and Expectations of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Mexican Agricultural Sector
Technical report
01/03/2021
Description
This report describes in a very precise way the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed by 193 countries to be implemented worldwide, which are based on Human Rights and the search for human dignity, betting on a better future for the planet and for human beings. Over the last few years, COVID-19 has generated a great crisis in the collection of geographic data information, which has hindered the development and therefore the fulfillment of these objectives, and has also exacerbated the negative effects that seek to eradicate these SDGs. Another major obstacle is that only a few selected groups know about the SDGs, mainly governmental groups, so it is important to disseminate and publicize them. In addition, the report presents a review of regulations, policies and programs developed around each of the Sustainable Development Goals from the Chamber of Deputies in Mexico.
