Description

The purpose of this "One Health" policy is to promote coordination and collaboration across the governance frameworks of human, animal, plant, and environmental health programs to improve prevention and preparedness for current and future health challenges at the human-animal-environment interface. One of the primary concerns in the "One Health" approach is addressing risks that impact the systems on which society depends: health, agriculture and livestock, and the environment.
