Description
In order to agree on common strategies to strengthen the prevention and control of outbreaks of avian influenza in animals in the Americas and mitigate the risk of transmission to humans, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) brought together public and animal health experts from nine countries in the region this week in Brazil.
