Rural connectivity in Latin America and the Caribbean. State of the situation and actions for digitization and sustainable development (ES)

This document updates data and provides a map of the current state of rural connectivity in Latin America and the Caribbean, reconstructing the information for the period 2020-2022. It also exhaustively compiles the experiences that have been developed in the region in the last two years in terms of rural connectivity and the use of digital technologies, whether through public policies, the association of the public and private sector, and international cooperation. Finally, the material formulates the needs in terms of training in digital skills both for the active adult population in general and for young people and women who live in rural areas.
