Description

One of the clearest warnings left by the pandemic was that the lack of access to telecommunications services increases social and economic inequalities. The essence of connectivity could only be perceived in those moments of crisis, where digital became the only way to continue with our most indispensable activities. In Latin America, 40 million people live in places without Internet coverage, which represents six percent of the region's population. In addition, there is still a gap between rural and urban areas. Partnerships between the private sector are an excellent way to create projects with greater impact. And if we also manage to include other allies such as governments and the social sector, we can create sustainable and scalable projects that accelerate our arrival at the common goal of achieving a Latin American society that sees digital as an opportunity to improve their lives and increase their well-being.
