Peru: First Report on Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense Tropical Race 4 (2021)

Report issued by the Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria (National Service of Agricultural Health) - SENASA in which phytosanitary alert and phytosanitary emergency is declared throughout the national territory to prevent the entry of F. oxysporum f.sp cubense R4T, in response to the first detection of the fungus in the American continent (Colombia), in Peru, national plants of Cavendish banana with symptoms are detected in the district of Querecotillo (Province Sullana- Piura).
