Pathogen profile update: Fusarium oxysporum (2019)

The review profiles relevant issues related to Fusarium oxysporum, mentioning its taxonomy, host range, races or specific forms identified (more than 120 of high specificity), describes the symptoms of the disease and its economic importance; as a control practice, resistant varieties are suggested as the only effective practice to control the disease in the field, complemented with soil sterilisation.
