Description
This review explores the possibility of harnessing the potential of the bacterial endomicrobiome in different banana cultivars that is dominated by the phyla Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes and Actinobacteria against Foc, with the aim of developing nanoformulations with bacterial endophytes in order to increase efficacy against the lethal pathogenic strains of Foc that infect banana, also mentioned is the engineering of the banana endosphere with bacterial endophytes of resistant genotypes such as Pisang lilly and YKM5 that induce the immune response against Foc, independently of the strains and would develop the understanding of MAMP-triggered immunity and the metabolomics that modulate resistance.
