Evaluation of the Efficacy of Commercial Disinfectants Against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense Race 1 and Tropical Race 4 Propagules (2019)

The study evaluated 32 disinfectants and their activity at different time intervals (30sec, 5min and 24h) in contact with F. oxysporum sp. cubense (suspension 105 chlamydospores/ml with 0.05b/ml of soil). Quaternary ammonium compounds in dilutions of 1:100 with 10% of ingredients showed the best results in inhibiting the survival of propagules. The least effective were detergent and miscellaneous products.
