Description

As part of the work plan activities of the "Digitization of Small-Scale Agriculture" project, an analysis was developed to compare current agricultural soil moisture measurement sensor technologies in terms of price, components and functionality. This analysis allowed obtaining a detailed overview of the market options, in addition to providing ideas on the design of the low cost, high robustness and usability sensor proposed within the project; allowing innovation in this technological proposal from the available technologies. The result of this work is product number three of the project, entitled: "Comparative technical note on soil moisture measurement technologies".
