Seed and chemical maker Bayer AG launched a digital platform that seeks to help U.S. farmers adopt environmentally friendly practices by connecting them with companies seeking more sustainable inputs for food, feed and biofuels. Bayer's ForGround platform will leverage data on climate, soil, seeds and farming practices to make recommendations on how farmers can improve soil conditions, reduce emissions and cut water use and chemical applications.
