Peru approved the operation of the Rural Cadastral System (SCR)

The start-up of the "Rural Cadastral System" will help regional governments to automate the processes related to the regulation, formalization and titling of rural properties, as well as the procedures for the recognition and titling of peasant and native communities. The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation will act as the governing body, consolidator, supervisor and administrator of the rural cadastre information at the national level.
