Rural Change Observatory (OCARU)

Initiative of the Institute of Ecuadorian Studies (IEE), which disseminates analysis on agrarian policy, the agrifood regime, peasant family farming, agroecological coalitions, rural women and climate change, with an emphasis on Ecuador and the Andes. It publishes news, economic and opinion articles, interviews, research, training materials and audiovisual content, as well as an email newsletter. Its publications include the book "Agriculturas familiares campesinas en los Andes" (2025) and a special edition on agricultural figures for the 2025 elections.
