El Niño: Hydrometeorological Situation in Argentina. Bulletin No. 6

Weekly technical bulletin on the hydrometeorological situation in Argentina, published on 8 October 2026 with forecasts issued through 6 October. It reports that observed conditions are consistent with the warm phase of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation and indicates a 100% probability of remaining in the El Niño phase during October, November and December 2026. It provides seasonal, weekly and subseasonal precipitation outlooks; describes the status and expected trends of rivers, basins and reservoirs; and analyses soil moisture and the antecedent precipitation index.
