Export Declarations Set a Historic August Record

In August 2026, 13,101,815 metric tons were registered through Sworn Declarations of Foreign Sales (DJVE), the highest volume recorded for that month since the system was implemented. The figure represented a 121% increase compared with August 2025, stood 85% above the average for the previous five years, and exceeded the previous August record by 42%. The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries attributed the result to the strong pace of agro-industrial export operations.
