Assessment of COVID-19 Effects on Agricultural Production and Food Security

Technical report prepared by FAO Bolivia, the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands, and the Vice Ministry of Civil Defense to assess the effects of COVID-19 on agricultural production, food supply, food security and rural livelihoods in Bolivia during the March-May 2020 quarantine. The study collected information from municipal authorities and risk management units through an online questionnaire. It examines emergency response, production, transportation, marketing, storage, food supply and vulnerable groups to identify key stakeholders, needs, bottlenecks and municipal forecasts.
