Description

ENFEN maintains the Coastal El Niño Alert and estimates at least a 62% probability of extraordinary magnitude from September 2026 to January 2027 in the Niño 1+2 region. It recommends considering risk scenarios and adopting disaster risk reduction and preparedness measures for imminent hazards.
