Institutions linked to sheep meat sign collaboration agreement to develop digital solutions in the meat sector

The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay (MGAP) together with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), CAF - Development Bank of Latin America, the National Meat Institute (INAC) and the Uruguayan Wool Secretariat (SUL) signed an inter-institutional collaboration agreement to develop digital solutions in the meat sector. This advance is the result of the work initiated in 2021, following the signing of the Non-Reimbursable Technical Cooperation Implementation Agreement for the Project entitled "Digitalization of Agrifood Chains through Blockchain in the face of post-COVID-19 challenges", which had CAF as the financier and IICA as the executor in Uruguay.
