Description

UAM assessed damage to greenhouses and production facilities in Salto following the storm of July 17 and 18 and expects a reduction in the supply of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zucchini and cucumbers. However, it ruled out shortages because domestic production will cover internal consumption and considered imports neither necessary nor imminent.
