Sustainable Integrated National Drainage and Irrigation Systems

It is a strategic initiative aimed at modernizing Guyana’s water management infrastructure to combat climate-related flood risks. The project focuses on developing a comprehensive strategy—the Integrated Strategy for Drainage and Irrigation (ISDI)—that emphasizes resilience and nature-based solutions (NbS) to effectively reduce flood risks, particularly along Guyana’s vulnerable coastline
