Description

Brazil contributed approximately 40% of global soybean production in 2024/2025, producing about 171.5 million tonnes across 47.4 million hectares. The review examines the historical, technological, and policy drivers of this leadership and argues that its continuation will depend on sustainable intensification, innovation, and effective governance.
