Description

A Bank of America report identifies Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina as the Latin American countries most exposed to an intense El Niño event in 2026. The phenomenon could increase food and energy inflation, reduce Brazilian maize and sugar production, and put part of Argentina's wheat harvest at risk.
