Regional Observatory for Food and Nutrition Security —OBSAN-R

Regional observatory of the Central American Integration System designed to generate, analyse and disseminate information, evidence and knowledge on food and nutrition security in support of decision-making and public policy management in SICA Member States. OBSAN-R facilitates the monitoring and evaluation of food and nutrition security policies, plans, programmes and actions, promotes regional analysis and knowledge exchange, and strengthens institutional capacities. It also brings together tools and resources related to food and nutrition surveillance, information management and early warning to improve the formulation and implementation of regional and national policies and actions.
