Description

The Public Policies and Rural Development in Latin America and the Caribbean Network (PP-AL) is a collaborative mechanism focused on research, training and scientific animation on public agricultural, environmental and rural development policies. Its objective is to study the design and implementation of these policies, i.e. to examine their mechanisms and their effects, particularly in terms of socio-political transformations and the fight against inequality. Its research is carried out by its members, including economists, sociologists, geographers, political scientists, etc., within the framework of comparative, bilateral or networked projects. The PP-AL Network currently has more than 40 partners in 14 countries in LAC, Europe, the USA and Canada.
