Milei Announced a Reduction in Export Duties on Wheat and Barley

Argentina's Office of the President reported that President Javier Milei announced a reduction in export duties on wheat and barley from 7.5% to 5.5%, expected to take effect in June 2026. The announcement was made during the 172nd anniversary of the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange. The President also anticipated a gradual reduction in the tax burden on soybeans between 2027 and 2028, subject to revenue performance, and highlighted the performance of Argentina's agricultural exports.
