Description
ENFEN maintains the "Coastal El Niño Alert" status, with the event likely continuing through April 2027 in the Niño 1+2 region, while El Niño conditions in the central Pacific (Niño 3.4) could reach very strong magnitude between November and December 2026. The communiqué includes temperature, precipitation, and river flow forecasts for the July-September 2026 quarter, along with observations on fishery resources such as anchovy.
