MIDAGRI advances the recovery of 437 hectares of degraded land across nine regions of Peru

MIDAGRI reports progress on a campaign to recover 437 hectares of degraded or nutrient-depleted land in the regions of Ayacucho, Áncash, Huánuco, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Junín, Moquegua, Pasco and Tacna, directly benefiting 1,566 farming families. The intervention includes the reconstruction and construction of terraces (andenes), installation of irrigation systems, application of organic fertilizers, and silvopastoral planting, aimed at improving rainwater use and preparedness for drought.
