Description
Bolivia's Ministry of Defense ordered the immediate start of preventive planning for the 2026-2027 El Niño event amid risks of drought, forest fires, rainfall deficits and pressure on water sources. Preparations include contingency plans, updated resource inventories, protocol reviews and coordination among national and territorial institutions.
