Scientific article assessing the impact of climate change on the yield of three potato varieties (Imilla Blanca, Imilla Negra and Andina) in Taraco and Juliaca, Peruvian Altiplano, using the AquaCrop model and RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios toward 2050. It projects rainfed yield reductions —especially in Taraco— and irrigated increases in Juliaca, identifying access to irrigation, resilient variety selection, and sowing calendar adjustment as key adaptation strategies.
