The World Bank published a practical guide to support governments and practitioners in formulating and institutionalizing long-term climate strategies. The document provides an operational framework for developing technically sound strategies and embedding them in planning, budgeting and government decision-making processes, with the aim of advancing low-emission and climate-resilient development pathways. The publication draws on lessons from experiences in the Dominican Republic, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
