Presentation delivered at the virtual launch of the report The Outlook for Agriculture and Rural Development in the Americas: A Perspective on Latin America and the Caribbean 2025-2026, jointly produced by ECLAC, FAO, CAF, and IICA. Presented by Joaquín Arias, editorial coordinator of the report and OPSAa-IICA coordinator, the slides summarize the report's three substantive chapters: the challenging regional context for productive transformation, the determinants of agricultural productivity, and the eight strategic lines of action proposed to drive sustainable, inclusive, and resilient productivity across the region.
