Law No. 489 approving Economic Complementation Agreement No. 76 between MERCOSUR and Panama

The agreement establishes a legal and regulatory framework to provide security and transparency for economic agents, promote reciprocal investments, progressively move toward a free trade area, facilitate and diversify trade in goods, services and investments, promote economic and commercial cooperation, strengthen sectors such as logistics and infrastructure, foster the efficient use of information technologies and international e-commerce, and support harmonious development in the region.
