Joint technical report prepared by the World Food Programme (WFP) and Action Against Hunger on the impacts of the 2023–2024 El Niño phenomenon in Latin America and the Caribbean. The document analyzes climate-related effects associated with droughts, water scarcity, floods, storms, and extreme temperature variability, as well as their implications for food security, rural livelihoods, and the vulnerability of exposed populations. It also presents regional estimates on affected populations, agricultural impacts, and humanitarian risks, with particular emphasis on countries in the Central American Dry Corridor, the Andean region, and the Caribbean.
