Senamhi Strengthens Capacities of Farmers in Acocro (Ayacucho, Peru) with Agroclimatic Workshops for More Resilient Agriculture

Senamhi implemented the first PICSA workshop session in the district of Acocro (Ayacucho), within the framework of the Agroclimatic Management Platform, supported by APCC-Weatherpia and financed by KOICA. The activity strengthened farmers' capacities to interpret and use agrometeorological information in agricultural planning. Participatory agroclimatic calendars integrating local knowledge were developed to reduce risks from frosts, hail, and droughts, aiming to improve the resilience and productivity of family farming.
