Description

This study examines the transition from school to the labor market experienced by young people in Latin America over the past 10 years, focusing on young people classified as “NiNi” because they are neither in the education system nor in the labor market. However, the text highlights the burden of caregiving responsibilities as well as the situation of actively seeking job opportunities that allow for continuing education while generating income, in addition to the structural inequalities of the gendered division of labor.
