Description
Joint FAO–Caribbean Development Bank study analyzing structural trends in the agricultural sector across the 19 CDB borrowing member countries, with a focus on Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and Haiti. It examines economic growth, employment, poverty, food security, gender inequality and the structural transformation of agriculture, as well as agrifood trade, value chains, climate change and institutional frameworks. It identifies challenges such as high food import dependency, low agricultural productivity and climate vulnerability, and points to investment opportunities to promote inclusive and sustainable growth in the region.
