Description
ECLAC–GTZ project document analyzing the production potential of liquid biofuels (bioethanol and biodiesel) in Latin America and the Caribbean. It assesses the significance of E10 and B10 blends within the regional energy balance using 2005 consumption data, and examines the cultivable land area required to meet 5% blending targets per country based on agricultural surpluses and agroecological conditions. Includes Brazil's ProAlcool Program experience as a regional reference.
