Description

The article states that rising oil prices and global fertilizer export restrictions are increasing agricultural production costs in Guatemala. Fertilizers and fuels account for about 34% of intermediate agricultural costs and can reach up to 73.5% in some crops, creating risks of lower output and greater pressure on prices and margins.
